YAGGA WAGGA!

There is some large-scale NATO excercise in Norway these days, and this means there is rather a lot of military traffix on the roads in some areas. Of course, accidents do happen, and today a 40 ton (not 55 ton, as I wrote first) tank had a run-in with a personal car. No people were injured, thankfully, though police said that one side of the car "had become rather flattened."

On an unrelated note - why on Earth am I on the list of someone who thinks I'd have the remotest interest in even opening an email titled "lard assed gals"?

Latest gem from Discovery Channel (slightly paraphrased - it was yesterday night, after I'd switched off the computer): "A rocket has to be versatile and cost-effective: it must be designed specifically for the task at hand."

Has the definition of "versatile" changed while I wasn't looking?

Has anyone sent me something in the mail recently, to my home-adress in Lofoten? I'm asking ebcause my parents inform me I've received a letter to my home-address from that same company that charged me over 400 kroner (CA$80, US$65, €50, £35) for letting me receive a parcel. I am almost absolutely certain it is not related to anything I've ordered - anything I've ordered I ordered to my semester address.
